Proactivity
I’m off to see Deep Dish tonight! They rock my world. In fact they’re one of my biggest influences from a DJing perspective. In order to prepare I’ve spent nearly the whole day lying down or in bed, in various combinations! I’ve been feeling absolutely exhausted today, and have an almost complete memory blackout from last night which is a bit worrying. The plan of “taking it easy” obviously didn’t work out too well – quelle surprise. I guess it was probably something to do with the fact that in the whole nightclub there were about 10 girls to every 90 blokes, heh. Not that I would probably touch any of them anyway..
It was lucky then that there was so much sport on TV today, and even better that we beat the Aussies at rugby and the Argentinians at football. A good day to be English indeed :)
Also in music: yesterday I got Steve Lawler’s new mix CD (Lights Out 3) through the post. Haven’t really listened to it yet but seems awesome, the guy continues to impress me.
I bought a learn Japanese book too, which came in the same delivery. Thought seeing as I was lucky enough to receive a fair amount of private tuition in Canada it would be a shame to let it drop! So, I expect to be getting stuck into that shortly.
