Not forgotten but temporarily gone

Quickie to say this is not going to lay silent for much longer – I just wrote a rather more lengthy post explaining as such but, for the first time that I can remember, wordpress did a hotmail impersonation and lost all that I’d written when I hit publish. Great.
Still, will be back soon after finishing the last part of my New York story and running the few remaining errands that I have!

You can’t have, else it would be saved under the manage tab as a draft! It is a hotmail impersonation! Gmail is where the webmail is at!
Indeed.. And maybe I would have jumped on the gmail bandwagon – if I were really intent on using webmail, which I’m not :) plus all the ‘invasion of privacy’ conspiracy theory type stuff that was surrounding it at the outset turned a lot of people off, and made me extra not bothered to check it out until all the other jon mayeses of the world pillaged almost all of the relevant available addresses ;)

Well, it shits all over Hotmail from a great skyscraper-type height. Though that might just be adblock (the main reason i haven’t jumped to Opera since that went free) which is the best thing ever. Hotmail is just horrid compared. I never got all the privacy stuff, like MSN are some sort of saints who don’t look at all your mail? Hmmm, i’ve never taken to using a mail client on the computer to be honest.

Hey, I’m as game as any to bash M$, but until someone sends me an invite to gmail, and I think of some witty pseudonym to use therein, it looks like I’m sticking with Thunderbird. Now if only it would work with ActiveSync…
Hahahaha can’t help it, Gmail is great! I’ve got invites aplenty, though i can’t charge £40 for them anymore, those were the days!
